Rabbits

Young healthy rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas should have exams at least yearly. Routine spaying and neutering of these pets is now common. This can help prevent excessive breeding and certain disease conditions. These animals have continuously growing teeth and an overabundance of dental problems. Dental disease can be helped with proper nutrition. But even with proper nutrition many of these animals will require more frequent exams and dental work to help control their problems.
