I have a parakeet named Sunshine. I got her 2 years ago at the pet store in the mall. Sunshine is very timid. When I put her seeds in her cage, she freaks out. I learned that yellow parakeets live longer than blue ones. Every week I put down newspaper and every day I put in new seed. I wanted a pet because I was older and could take care of it. Sunshine has bright yellow feathers with a few green ones now and then.
