I decided to create this site after gaining a tremendous amount of media experience via The Pet Department and Animal Planet, and by assessing the need for information that every pet owner was craving. Being a practicing veterinarian I am all too aware of the time limitations of everyone's day.

While the internet is in its adolescence and nobody is sure where it will lead, no one would dispute its usefullness as a source of information for the average consumer. I have always prided myself on being able to express veterinary medicine in a form that is comfortable for the pet owner, whether they are looking to obtain a new pet, or euthanizing a family member they have loved and cared for for 15 years. I am striving to be a link between the pet owner and their own veterinarian, a resource for information and comfort that allows me to be a part of their animal care team.

I am excited about the potential partnerships that exist in this medium. Certainly linking to quality sites is something I would like to do. Advertising and true partnering is something to explore, as long as it does not compromise the impartial information I offer to the pet owner. I am happy to advertise products I truly feel are of quality and beneficial to pets.
